New Kid On The Block

So why should you spend your time reading my blog? I'm going to be blunt, brutal and honest. Tell it how it is. One day I might write about my favourite nail polish colour (typical, i know), the next I may write about the Chelsea social scene. Hey, I might even wack in a bit of politics. So there we have it. I might make you think, I may have already put you off. But have a look and judge for yourself and hey and I promise there shall be some pretty pictures.

Escape

City Life is a rush of excitement, noise and super busy schedules where you are always on the go and never far from your blackberry. Often we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives that we forget what we actually enjoy and we struggle to find the time to do what actually makes us happy. I am a city girl through and through, born and bred, will live and die- but this most certainly doesn't mean i can't appreciate life in the countryside. I'm not saying I would ever up and leave London swapping my dinners and drinks with friends for flies, cows and sheep but it's truly refreshing to spend a day breathing some good old fresh air. In London, it's easy to forget how to relax, to truly unwind, but in the countryside it seems almost effortless. The pubs are quirky and comforting, the food is homemade and fresh and the people are genuine and fun. I believe a good bit of variety is essential for anything and a healthy mix between city and country is good for the mind, the body (and the blackberry's battery life!)
