New Kid On The Block

So why should you spend your time reading my blog? I'm going to be blunt, brutal and honest. Tell it how it is. One day I might write about my favourite nail polish colour (typical, i know), the next I may write about the Chelsea social scene. Hey, I might even wack in a bit of politics. So there we have it. I might make you think, I may have already put you off. But have a look and judge for yourself and hey and I promise there shall be some pretty pictures.

What do we want? Christmas! When do we want it? Now!

Outfits courtesy of Primark.
Firstly, a belated merry christmas and happy new year 2011 to all. Christmas is a time for mulled wine, presents, family, celebrating the birth of jesus (for all you religious folk) and stuffing our faces with turkey and mince pies. Alas, you already know this.

As a Londoner myself, i am very much aware of all the fantastic things that go on every day in our spectacular little city, however i am also aware that it is easy not to take full advantage. So, when a friend suggested to me that i would be a stark raving lunatic if i missed out on the opportunity to dress up as a santa (or mrs claus in my case) and parade around london with thousands of other santa's, i thought, what have i got to lose?

Needless to say, it was one of the best day's in London I have ever had- I met some crazy, hilarious people (see below for evidence), drunk far too much cider, sang far too many santa themed carols and did something i will remember even when i am old and wrinkly

A rather unconventional "Santa"

Santacon and christmas have now come and gone, but I promise to inform you of the next santacon, or any event like it. These are opportunities for the young and old alike, that are not to be missed.
